What is quattro® All-Wheel Drive?

So fresh and so mean. #UrQuattro

keeping the best grip on the road is important for many drivers, which is what has given manufacturers the room that they need to develop the most advanced all-wheel drive systems that they can. Subaru has Symmetrical, BMW has xDrive, and Volkswagen has 4MOTION, but one of the highest regarded systems is the Audi quattro® All-Wheel Drive system

Audi separates itself from most of the pack by offering all-wheel drive on more than just their SUV lineup, extending it out to their cars as well so that every driver can see what this system does for them.

How Does quattro® Work?

Audi quattro® All-Wheel Drive sends power to each of the wheels, redirecting that power to the ones that have the best grip on the road. While this does help in bad weather, it also helps when going around curves or if you find yourself on uneven terrain.

This system is specially designed to fit onto each Audi model, tailoring the system to give the best possible performance for each different purpose. No matter if you are looking at the 2019 Audi Q3, the 2019 Audi A3, or the 2019 Audi SQ5, each has its own quattro® system – either available or standard – to make sure you will always feel the best while behind the wheel of your new Audi model.

Schedule Your Test Drive Soon to Feel the Difference

Being the first permanent all-wheel drive system for passenger cars has given Audi the time that they needed to make it a system that you can trust. We are happy to answer any other questions that you have about the system and can schedule you for a test drive in a model with quattro® AWD so that you can see if it feels right for you.
