At Audi Northlake, we've been so fortunate to be able to work with some truly amazing people, both at the dealership and out in our community. We work hard at what we do to make sure that we always have the opportunity to be involved, and give back. Every car sold, ever vehicle service, and part purchased gives us the chance to serve our friends and neighbors.
Through the efforts of our local team, Audi Northlake is proud to announce our "adoption" of the Berryhill School in Charlotte.
This winter, we donated a cozy Berryhill sweatshirt (Go Bears!) and a winter jacket to every child in grades Pre-K through 8th.Thanks to Together We Feed, a foundation started by Lynn Hendrick of the Hendrick family, we're able to provide a monthly "Mobile Pantry" shopping experience for local families and children in need. There are still parts of our community that don't have access to affordable, healthy food, and--by partnering with TWF--we're hoping to change that one meal at a time.
We even donated a new refrigerator to the school to be sure that our friends had plenty of space to store healthy food. Raising up the next generation takes a lot of energy, and when it's time to re-fuel, it's important to have the right snacks!
And, of course, what would a school be without its teachers?
Every month, Berryhill School elects a Teacher of the Month in recognition of their work, their compassion, and their dedication to our community's children. To thank them, Audi Northlake invites them to visit during our employee luncheon, to meet the team and to take a spin at the cash wheel! Every spin gives these hard-working educators a chance at between $100 and $500.
In addition, we give him or her the keys to a brand-new Audi A5 convertible for the weekend. While they're enjoying the thrill of a sports car, we give their vehicle a full reconditioning, with detailing and any necessary cosmetic repairs, then we fill it up and hand-deliver it back home.
When it comes to our community's teachers, we feel like we can never do enough. But we're extremely gratified by their kind words:
